Who is the King of the Hill?
I’m glad you asked. Ryan (the King) Keysar is the (reigning) King of the Hill.
For a long stretch it looked like Austin Bell with his Black/White life gain would take the crown but Walker hung a loss on him in the final match, creating a playoff with Ryan, which Mr. Rulesmaster won.
On the other end of the spectrum, Brandon (having beaten Will earlier) couldn’t duplicate the success in the Pig-Playoff so he goes home with the bacon (which was thick cut, Maple bacon, by the way).
Walker, Alex, Austin and Will are scouting residence in Middle Earth … but just looking to rent, for now.
We’ll reconvene in two weeks to play round two. Ryan MUST retain his KOH deck. Everyone else MUST NOT play cards they lost with this week. (BTW, not playing this week would not preclude a person from playing in the next rounds.)
