Good morning, LLAMALAND!
Great times were had at Keysar Kastle last night. We drafted Levi’s Lord of the Rings box and it was about as balanced a set/draft as you could ever encounter. The play format was 1v1, best of three and the games were epically long as the jousting and jockeying went deep into the night.
Round one saw Ryan get the bye. Levi edged Walker and Will snuck by Alex.
Round two saw Ryan begin to flex against Will while Alex awaited the Levi/Walker game.
The decisive round saw Walker fall to Alex for the pig and Levi fell at last to Ryan, crowning the host the grand winner of the evening. Go, Ryan! You are now within one win of a tie for first place for the season. Alex, with a 7 win season, is looking over his shoulder.
Trailing at a safe distance, Will and Titus are tied with 4 wins each. Brandon sits at 3, Walker has 2 wins. There is a four way tie (Cody, Dylan, AustinB, Zach) with one win each.
We will play again in two weeks at Helms Deep.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT #1: Clone Sets 9 and 10 are in (Levi got his last night. Austin needs to coordinate with Will for ASAP transfer.)
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT #2: King Keysar has conceived an Epic series that may put a fitting punctuation on an Epic year. It will be a Clone Set series that should be awesome. We fleshed out the structure last evening. I will allow Ryan to post the rules but, allow me to tease with the name: “King of the Hill!”
